The ‘Creative State of Mind’ launch event is in full swing!

Today, Mayor Trent Sullivan opened the Victorian Creative Cities Network’s event alongside the Mayors of Ballarat, Bendigo and Deputy Mayor of Melbourne.

We are recognising creativity as a strategic factor between all four UNESCO Creative Cities - Geelong (Design), Melbourne (Literature), Ballarat (Craft & Folk Art) and Bendigo city and regions (Gastronomy) and excited to share that, together, we are promoting our four cities as the Victorian Creative Cities Network – four distinctive creative destinations all situated in the beautiful State of Victoria. Enter: The Creative State of Mind.

🌟 Geelong is proudly a UNESCO City of Design and today we are excited to launch the ‘Creative State of Mind’ with the Victorian Creative Cities Network!

This new initiative showcases the best of Victoria’s four UNESCO Creative Cities - Geelong (Design), Melbourne (Literature), Ballarat (Craft & Folk Art) and Bendigo city and regions (Gastronomy).

With the 'Creative State of Mind' campaign, we aim to showcase Geelong as part of the Victorian Creative Cities Network, affirming to our community that we thrive in a UNESCO Creative City and to captivate visitors worldwide, inviting them to explore Geelong as a unique, creative destination.

The Victorian Creative Cities Network's Creative State of Mind campaign has been supported by the Victorian Government, through Creative Victoria.
