For businesses and people who want a truly accessible Geelong

Geelong is now the home of the NDIA. This means that Geelong has a responsibility to lead the way regarding accessibility. This means changing the way we think about accessibility and address issues differently. Accessibility design is not just about ease of access or complying with accessibility standards. Learn about the true meaning of accessibility. This presentation will discuss how accessible design needs to ensure that it is holistically tackling issues, taking into account both the physical and non-physical barriers to accessibility, as well as the individual experiences of people with disabilities that may influence the opinions of accessibility.
