Featuring renowned international speakers, this two-day event explores ways of using design and creativity to sustainably develop cities into Innovation Ecosystems.

Design City will bring together local leaders and design experts from around the world to investigate how design and creativity can be used to develop cities into innovation ecosystems.

The first of its kind in Australia, participants will be inspired by internationally-renowned design thinkers.

The symposium will introduce the concept of a design-enabled innovation ecosystem, which brings together the three key participants required to establish an innovation ecosystem: business, government, and research and education institutions.

Presentations and interactive panel discussions will explore the changing roles of innovation ecosystem participants. It will establish new opportunities for participants to work together to address many shared challenges.
