Ten artists reveal the design thinking process underpinning the work behind Geelong’s major arts events Mountain to Mouth Extreme Arts Walk and Geelong After Dark

Ten artists, ten artworks, ten designs: ten 10-minute talks.

Geelong’s major arts events Mountain to Mouth Extreme Arts Walk and Geelong After Dark draw from a rich pool of local artists. These visionaries create site-specific artworks that help us view our local places and spaces through new eyes, innovating with form, function, materials and concepts to re-imagine our world. Their methods often can seem arcane and magical for the uninitiated.

In this 2-hour session at the Geelong Arts Centre, ten leading local arts practitioners reveal the design thinking underpinning their work – where they begin, how they plan, and the conceptual processes that guide their approach.
