Share your thoughts on Geelong’s design and manufacturing history, see an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) demo experience of an iconic local invention the Ford ute (1934) and hear the results of a community survey about the past, present, and the future of Geelong’s inventive heritage at an afternoon symposium.

This event will be hosted by Deakin University in partnership with the City of Greater Geelong, Geelong Gallery, Geelong Library and Heritage Centre, and the National Wool Museum. The stakeholder symposium will include a VR demo open to the general public.

Virtual reality demonstration: 2pm – 5.30pm

Stakeholder symposium: 2.30pm – 4.30pm. Registration is required for the symposium only.
