Celebrating the new innovation precinct at Sacred Heart College where taking an agile approach to innovation and change in education will pave the way for problems yet to be determined.

Critical thinking, problem solving and imagination will be critical survival skills in future workplaces.

Tour Sacred Heart College’s new Innovation Precinct – where creativity meets innovation.

A centre where the best learning and teaching in science, technology, engineering and maths is interwoven with the best in the arts.

Teachers face the challenge of providing students with an education that equips them for a future not yet imagined. A future where technology will solve problems that don’t yet exist.

Sacred Heart College has taken an agile approach to improvement, innovation and change by setting up teams to respond to, learn from, and adapt to change.

It has a bias towards action, experimentation and rapid, real feedback. It focuses on impact, learning by doing and continuous improvement.

It redesigns learning.

To celebrate Geelong Design Week, the College’s new state-of-the-art Makerspace will be open for the community to develop eco-friendly Zaishu stools and wildlife boxes, with a focus on raising funds for Victoria’s bushfire relief.
