First ever Geelong Design Week to showcase our design-driven future

Geelong’s design-driven future will be in the spotlight next month as the City hosts the first ever Geelong Design Week from 19 – 29 March.

More than 80 events including exhibitions, workshops, tours, projections, pop-up shops and an international innovation symposium are set to showcase why Geelong is Australia’s only UNESCO City of Design.

Alongside new innovations and technologies, the program explores local creative and cultural talents, our Indigenous heritage and inspires thinking and conversation around the future shape of our city.

The Geelong Design Week 2020 theme, doing it differently, highlights Geelong’s unique creative heritage while showing how clever design can be used to discover new solutions to societal challenges.
