Deakin University and the City of Greater Geelong invite you to the second lecture in the Clever and Creative Lecture Series for 2019: Good Health by Design.
A transdisciplinary design culture has the potential to improve outcomes across the globe, optimising responses to growing health challenges such as ageing populations, inactivity and poor diets.
Ms Sheree Proposch, Principal Health Architect at Hassell Studio and a key designer of the $1 billion Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, and
Professor Anna Peeters, Director of Deakin’s Institute for Health Transformation, will discuss how design is driving new approaches to health innovation.
At this lecture, Deakin is also launching disruptr, a research-centred communications platform, and a new podcast series Change One Thing. Inspired by Deakin’s breadth of expertise, disruptr encourages conversation by highlighting the impact of Deakin’s research and the potential it holds for the future.
This event will be held at Deakin University, Waterfront Campus, School of Architecture and Built Environment Gallery.
1 Gheringhap Street, Geelong.
5:30pm – 7:00pm.
